Full-stack engineer (PHP, Laravel, Vue.js)

We only hire directly. Agencies need not apply.

About us

ConsortiaManager is a SaaS application used by the world's largest consumers of academic products, including Stanford University and the United Nations. It's a workflow tool that helps customers manage pricing, purchasing, subscription, licensing and more, handling close to a billion dollars in purchases every year.

We are a small, independent and profitable company based in Copenhagen, with employees in Denmark and around Europe. We are remote-first, try to keep engineering time focused and meeting-free, and strongly believe in work-life balance. We offer competitive salaries.

About the role

We have a number of exciting products we want to build, and we need more engineers to help us build them. We also need help in maintaining and improving our existing products, all of which share a similar technical stack. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work autonomously, has experience in building and maintaining complex web applications, and is always eager to learn new things.

Our technical stack is:

  • PHP and Laravel
  • Javascript and Vue.js
  • MySQL
  • GitHub Actions
  • AWS

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience using PHP and Laravel daily in a professional capacity, and good knowledge of all other technologies above. Candidates leaning more towards the back-end or the front-end are also encouraged to apply.

You must also be fluent in English, with excellent communication skills. Danish is not required. We prefer candidates in Europe and in the CET or GMT timezones.

Our interview process

  • Internal review of applications
  • An initial chat about the role with a fellow engineer
  • A subsequent chat with the company founders

Candidates will not be required to complete code challenges.

A Q1/2023 starting date is ideal, but we're also willing to wait for the right candidate.

How to apply

Please contact with a short introduction and why you'd make a good fit, and include an up-to-date CV.
